BASKETBALL IS A DANGEROUS GAME.

Yet another pre-defining year in basketball; for the NBA fans specially its new faces on the podium. Kawhi Leonard taking away another finals MVP and the Toronto Raptors surprisingly landing a franchise first ever NBA championship in 2019; yes, undoubtedly historic. Stephen Curry and a Golden State magical squad for a moment had just about concealed status “indestructible” after completion of a 3 peat in collision with a greatest name in the game today in James LeBron.

For a sport that’s international, basketball is easy, straight forward hands on sports. You do exactly what you want to do; motives are easy to read, movements easy to predict and communication is quite definite and direct. The underlying principle is decisiveness and competence everytime; you pick the play, you see it through. Fast and simple mechanism with no holds barred. Defence is only a myth. Yes realized occasionally but mainly myth and the greatest asset obviously the hands. This acclimatizes it as very liberalizing sport mentally and physically. With hardly any limits, protrusively the mind of a basketball player becomes an extremely dangerous place. The mental telepathy; thought mechanism and resolve, the attitude braced ‘’ on the court’’ for a battle that’s unlike any other and superior to most all sum up to ascertain the matter of seriousness posed by the sport of basketball.

Attitude always the biggest escalator of the great basketball player. Closely co-related to the height factor; The attitude protracted in the game is obviously obscure, and if brought to task before minds unfamiliar with the dogma of basketball may be considered dangerous and harmful. This attitude that’s carried about by all the greats of the game may cause reason for fear and uncertainty.

Easy opinion; (1) Micheal Jordan, a most renowned name in basketball history, leading a team in Chicago to NBA championships on six occasions between 1991 and 1998;achieving an outstanding and memorable feat; attributed to team composition and maybe technical abilities for some but undoubtedly and most importantly, the individual carried resolve (mental). A bottom-line attitude of unwavering decisiveness. This is a reason he is still a resounding individual today. It’s the style of play acquired by the games greatest players. The setup of the sport is such that the triumph is there for whosoever desires it the most. That’s for the good and danger of basketball.

Easy opinion; (2) Bill Russell, taking it all the way back to the 1960’s; Boston Celtics. Dominance as an understatement; 11 times NBA champions, 8 times consecutive, 5 times Finals MVP, a feat still difficult to come to terms with today, it’s simply mind boggling. Being an easy impact sport, the individual mental resolve of a Bill Russell making a choice to pursue and attain a historic triumph. This is what makes the basketball player greater. There’s a mind-set that’s built on some sort of re-occurring principle that cannot be turned back. Yes championship format and yes tough and dangerous too.

Taking the effort of analysis to today’s game, it’s not difficult to make an evaluation. Taking time to watch a James LeBron in transition; drive to the basket, or a Kevin Durant with a top of the key post with back to the basket finishing with a right hand jam, or a Carmelo Anthony squaring up for the baseline 3 point shot; UNSTOPPABLE! Three of the deadliest offensive setups in the game. Easy to pick out the construct of attitude, the mental composure, the decisiveness and resolve that makes these individuals dangerous in how they do what they do.

Much reference made to the american game but basketball impact is nevertheless global; the mind of an epic player of the game of basketball is a very contrusive and dangerous place, more than most have ever realized or are in place to make observation.. More than the fancied height and broad shoulders parade, the make up of the game is condescending and classic; it’s a game of ultimate resolve.
